You were introduced to them on the Greaseball Melodrama CD (we loved 'em so much we put their track first) then you got another shot on last years Gearhead's sampler "The Thingmaker" and now Eugene Oregon's Rock N Roll Soldiers are back with 6 tracks so powerful, Atlantic Records (who signed the band in 2004) agreed to let Gearhead release this EP before their debut CD hits the streets. This vinyl only debut will give you a pretty good idea of what the rock world is in for. Recorded while the band was in their final year of high school, they mix youthful punk rock energy with classic late-60's era Stones influenced guitar riffs (and plenty of swagger) to create something unique but familiar û we think it's perfect. This EP will be followed by another 6 track EP of more recent recordings called "The Weak Blame The Strong" later this month. First pressing of The High School Sessions is on gold vinyl.
