This four piece band of fourteen and fifteen year olds (yes, you read right, fourteen and fifteen year olds) have been tearing up the local scene in their hometown of Seattle, Washington for a while now having shared the stage with such acts as Social Distortion, The Adolescents, T.S.O.L., The Weirdos, and The Accused to name a few. For being such young lads, one would expect their diet of punk rock to be based on the likes of Blink 182 or Simple Plan but that is most definitely not the case. With influences ranging from Circle Jerks, The Damned, The Adicts, The Dead Kennedys, Subhumans, and bands of that vein, the band's sound is nothing short of a throw back to what made punk music so good to begin with. Edgy, gritty, raw and snotty, DEK is the sound of 1977 punk reborn.
